Over more than three decades in the field, he has: shared two TED Global talks on urban sustainability (with over 4 million views); co-founded "Worldchanging," the award-winning online magazine of the 2000s; edited the best-selling books, Worldchanging and Worldchanging 2.0, and authored Carbon Zero: Imagining Cities that Can Save the Planet. In 2017, he was named to Rolling Stone Magazine's "25 People Shaping the Future In Tech, Science, Medicine, Activism and More."
